Best Movies Ever Made, Part 1

Hey everyone! 🙂

So I love movies, movie making and movie industry. In fact I`m hoping to become a movie director one day 🙂

I thought I could start writing about my favorite movies and TV shows. Today I`m writing about some of the most amaizing movies ever created (part 1 of course, because there is a loot of them)

  1.  Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Directed by: Steven Spielberg

Stars:   Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman

Year: 1981

Now who doesn`t love good old Indiana Jones, am I right? To tell you the truth, when I was little I used to think Indiana Jones was a girl 🙂

The Third Reich continues its reign of terror and destruction as they head on a mission to find the legendary Ark of the Covenant- resting place of the Ten Commandments. The Ark has, as a legend says, such a supernatural power, that it can wipe out entire armies. U.S. Government turns to Dr. Indiana Jones, for the mission to try and save the Ark. Indiana infiltrates their massive digging operation in a race against time to discover the Well of the Souls, where the Ark has lain undisturbed for centuries.

  2. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Directed by:  Peter Jackson

Stars:  Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, Ian McKellen

Year: 2003

Now this movie… It`s just sooooo good! It is the last of the Lord of the Rings series and it`s my personal favorite! It has a perfect ending to the story, making even the boys cry 😉 Okay maybe not, I`m sorry, I`ll try to keep your manhood in place. But I cried like a baby in the end!

Frodo and Sam continue their quest to destroy the ring, led by the untrustworthy Gollum. Meanwhile the rest of the Fellowship prepare for another battle to hold a human city against an army of orcs.

3. Titanic

Directed by:   James Cameron

Stars:   Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane

Year: 1997

This is one of the most passionate movies ever created, in my opinion! It has a beautiful story about true love that can never die! I`m obsessed with Titanic since 2008 and will probably be till the day I die.

Titanic presents a fictional love story on the historical setting of the Titanic. The plot is simple, noncomplicated and just amaizing. The end of the movie can be figured out within 5 minutes of the start of the film, but the love story is a beautiful one. Kate Winslett plays Rose, an aristocratic young lady, who is supposed to marry Cal (played by Billy Zane). On the voyage Rose meets Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio), a lower class artist on his way to America after winning his ticket in a poker game. The two fall in love and the audience sees the sinking of the Titanic before it even happens.

4. Jurassic Park

Directed by:  Steven Spielberg (the one and only)

Stars:  Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum

Year: 1993

In 1993, Hollywood saw something unlike anything else, the film Jurassic Park.  This one got me on so many levels: the actors, the story, the danger… I highly recommend it!

The plot is very original. A group of scientists cloned dinosaurs, and are about to open an amusement park where people can see the dinosaurs. The creator John Hammond invites a group of people, along with his grandchildren, to see the dinos and enjoy it.  Meanwhile employee Dennis Nedry is planning to steal dinosaur embryos. He causes a security breakdown so he can get the embryos and escape. After that, the dinosaurs escape as well. Now everyone on the island is in danger, and loose dinosaurs are everywhere.

5. Pineapple Express

Directed by:  David Gordon Green

Stars:  Seth Rogen, James Franco, Gary Cole

Year: 2008

Now this movie is one of a kind- its a mix of action and comedy. Also who doesn`t love James Franco!? 🙂

Stoner Dale Denton  has only one reason to visit his dealer Saul Silver: to buy weed, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a cop and the city’s most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is.
